Unable to see into Diesel’s cracking mind, Nadia instead puts her faith into his strength, fueled by eleven generations of unmatched rage and insanity. Their tight-rope relationship balances the two between life and death, love and rage, trust and betrayal.

MY REV (Copy)

“He was damaged. He was crazy. He was unpredictable and reckless, and in this stupid moment, he was mine.”

First of all, I’d like to tell you guys how much I fell in love with the cover of this book. It looks so stunning and captivating. Diesel looks freaking hot in that picture and now we finally have a face to visualize. Secondly, Soul Finder is definitely a thrilling sequel to the Soulless.  After the crazy cliffhanger in the last book, I was so looking forward to read this book. And boy this one was just damn crazy! The first book was amazing but the second one is quiet awesome. It’s far darker than the previous installment and more action packed. Diesel is my main interest in this book and we see a whole different side of him that we aren’t familiar with. This book was so intense that it pulls you into the story completely, making you forget where you are until the last page.

Nadia is a soulless who is born without a soul imprint and with the help of a criminal named Diesel, she escapes the alpha prison where she was being experimented like a guinea pig. Now Diesel and Nadia are the most Wanted people hunted by both terrorist groups and Government. After being discovered she was the prophesied soulless, once again Nadia’s on the run for her life and her only hope lies in Diesel who was sent to kill her.  Diesel pretty much hates the re-incarnation cycle that literally drives him insane and he fights the past lives memories that always haunts him. He wants to end the reincarnation cycle and Nadia is the only hope for finding the cure. Nadia can’t deny the attraction she feels towards Diesel but the feeling of distrust is still there and she fears for the man she comes to love. In the journey of finding the cure, Nadia comes across some unexpected shocking truths and revelations that shakes her to her core.

Nadia has become more stronger than before. After being labeled as a prophesied Soulless, her struggle to survive without being discovered has become more difficult. She’s a strong survivor and also a fighter who has endured horrific attacks from the drifters, criminals and government officials. She’s also a brave and selfless girl who’ll risk her life to save others. Diesel is quiet an enigma and this book gave a deep insight into him. He’s a flawed and broken guy who’s craving for a normal life without the curse of reincarnation cycle. His dark and scary personality definitely intrigued me but I’d obviously prefer his old personality which is far better cause who would love a scary bad guy. I enjoyed the romance. After admitting his feelings for Nadia, Diesel becomes more protective and obsessive like an Alpha male. I loved the hot and cold relationship between Nadia and Diesel. There is so much desire, angst, passion, rage and lust in their love that totally took my breath away. As for our newest character Hiro, I pretty much liked him. He is a likable character who is sweet, cute, fun and naive. I really hated Nadia when she tried to use him as a tool to make Diesel jealous.

The plot is well written and exciting. It was executed in a way to hold readers attention until the very end. The story moved in a fast pace filled with equal amount of action, suspense, intrigue, romance and adventure. I liked the character insights and developments. The author has a great writing style which I enjoyed through out the book. Although I enjoyed viewing the story from Nadia’s perspective, I’d wish there was also Diesel’s POV and I really really hope the next book has one. The book also has a great world building. The futuristic world the author has created is dark and twisted filled with greed, selfishness, distrust, suffering, fear and violence.

Overall, it was quite an intriguing read! This book was not only a thrill ride but also an emotional roller coaster and that massive cliffhanger at the end definitely frustrated the hell out of me. I want the next book right now cause I really think it’s going to be pretty fantastic.

Do I recommend it?
Yes, If you haven’t read this series yet then I highly recommend you to pick this up. It’s a must read for all the book lovers who likes action packed dystopian books.
