Burrito Bowl Book Tag!

burrito-bowl-book-tagHello there! I’ve been tagged by Erika @Bookventureland to do the Burrito Bowl Book Tag.Thank you so much Erika for tagging me to do this fun tag. 😀

Rice: The Foundation – “The book that got you into reading (or book blogging)”

I can’t pick out a particular book for this question but when I was young I loved reading Vampire books or any paranormal novels. So, in my case that it’s a particular genre that got me into reading. At start, I used to read only paranormal books then I tried contemporary and later on I explored other genres too.And Just like that I got addicted to books. So, here’s the first series that got me into reading and it’s written by the author named Amelia Atwater Rhodes.

Beans: The Filler – “A book with a whole lot of nothing happening”

I struggled a lot while reading this book because it was so boring and there’s nothing happening until the end.

Protein: The Building Block “A book quote to live by”

Fajitas: The Crunch of Texture – “A book with immaculate world-building”

There are so many books to choose from So I had to name at least three books.

Salsa: The Dance of Flavour – “A book that kept you on your toes”

This book was truly a mind-blowing YA thriller filled with mystery & suspense at every turn. The Main protagonist in the plot is Ella and she is targeted by a killer for an unknown reason. Every character is a suspect, It was a torture for me everytime I suspected someone I was always proven wrong and that frustrated the hell out of me.If you haven’t read this book yet then I highly recommend you to read it and it’s absolutely free on the author’s wattpad.

Corn: The Explosion of Sweetness“A memorable scene involving friendship/romance”

It’s hard for me to answer it without including any spoilers but I can pretty much say that it’s a great book. And I loved all the scenes of Blue and Wilson together in it.

Cheese: The Bond of Calcium“Two characters from different books you wish could be friends

I would choose my favorite characters Celaena from Throne Of glass and Feyre from ACOTAR. Both of them are created by Sarah J. Mass and I totally love them. They both have certain similarities to each other and they are strong kickass characters too.

Sour Cream: The Tangy Topper“The quirkiest character you’ve ever read (protagonist or supporting)”

It’s Bianca piper from The DUFF. I’ve read so many books with quirky characters but when I first read the question bianca was the one who came into my mind first.

Guacamole: The Cost of Creaminess – “A book you paid too much for (based on utility experienced)”

I like reading as many books as possible so you can say I’m always broke and I mostly own paperbacks and ebooks, and that’s why I don’t spend too much money for a single book when I could buy more than one book with that much of amount. And yes I agree with Erika on this, every textbook you use in  University really costs a lot more than you think.

Lettuce: The Handful of Crispness – “A refreshing concept/theme in a book”

Stolen Songbird By Danielle L.Jensen
It’s a good YA fantasy book full of magic, intrigue, rebellion and romance. It’s a refreshing take on fantasy genre especially with the trolls in it and I really enjoyed reading it.

Chips: Le Pièce de Résistance – “A must-read recommendation if you like [this book/genre—you decide!]”

If you like YA Paranormal Romance then I highly recommend this series.

DEMON KISSED SERIES BY H.M. WARD

 BLURB:
The Valefar boy tricked Ivy Taylor into kissing him, but he took much more than a kiss – he stole her soul and left her within inches of death.

By surviving, Ivy is drawn into the conflict between the Martis and the Valefar. The war between these two immortal forces has raged for millennia without distraction. Until now.

Ivy is an anomaly-she is the only person who has ever walked away from a demon kiss alive. Her survival gives her unique and deadly abilities. Too powerful to ignore, Ivy is a threat to both armies. These two ancient enemies will stop at nothing to kill the seventeen-year-old.

Surviving is nothing new for headstrong Ivy, but her survival has never depended on another person before. This time it does. And if she misplaces her trust, she’s dead. To her horror, she starts falling in love at the worst possible time-with the enemy. He appears to be protecting her. But she can’t be certain if he is trying to help her, or help himself to her power. For Ivy, trusting the right person is the difference between love and survival, or a deadly demon kiss.

Tabasco: The Kick to the Face“Your favourite fight/action sequence”

I don’t have any favorites yet but I love all the Fight/action Sequences from the vampire academy series.

I’ve heard about the Demon Kissed, but haven’t read it yet. Thanks for the recommendations! Guess who need to drop a visit at the bookstore soon (aren’t we all do???) And thank you so much for the tag. Love it! ❤

I’ve only read one book out of all the books you’ve listed on here which is Cinder. HAHA

I’m sorry that you didn’t like Rook that much. It’s on my TBR and I was actually quite excited to read it because of the premise, but now I’m hesitant on reading it since it’s plot seems nonexistent. 😦

Thank you for doing the tag! 🙂
