Book Of The Month

Of Goblins and Gold (Of Goblins Kings #1)
by Emma Hamm
[JAN 2021]

This was my first Emma Hamm book and I absolutely loved it. The story was captivating, and the setting was gorgeous. I can’t wait for the next book!

Of Goblins and Gold (Of Goblin Kings, #1)

BLURB: To save her sister, she must beat a goblin at his own game…
Freya knows the sound of goblin bells. She knows to move to the side of the road and let them pass. Never buy any of their wares. And above all else, never make a deal with the monstrous beasts.

But when her sister takes a necklace and is kidnapped, Freya knows there is no other choice. She must journey to the realm of the fae where the Goblin King himself has stolen her sister. Once there, she must perform four tasks to save the only family she has left.

The Goblin King won’t make this easy, however. He always seems one step ahead of her. To defeat him, she’ll have to put everything on the line.

Even her heart.

Winter Plague (Complete Collection)
by Quinn Blackbird

I highly recommend this series if you’re into dystopian books with survival themes and slow burn romance.

Winter Plague (Complete Collection)
BLURB: If you tried to run, you know what would happen, Winter.
I would hunt you down and burn the world to find you…

The world has gone to shit.
All that’s left are a few bands of rogue survivors, more dangers than ever, those violence-loving rotters, and me and my dog, Cleo. Well, it should just be Cleo and me. And it was, until–
I found them.
A group of mercenaries in this plagued, wintery world. Once high-ranking soldiers, something has turned them dark in this new life we all lead. And my darkness calls to theirs…

Leo saves my life, Castle keeps me safe, and I’m torn between the two. Only, it’s more than returned feelings that have them watching over me, and I quickly learn that my place in this group is not optional. I can’t leave any time I want.

I’ve been taken captive.
And I see no way out. Not without breaking my own heart in the progress.

Thank you for reading and Let’s Chat! ❤

So, how was your January? How many books have you read this month and what is your favorite book of the month? Have you read any of the book from the above list?

Please feel free to comment below or leave a link to your wrap up post.
Until next time and Have a great day! 😀

It looks like you had a great time reading during your hiatus. I also read The Cousins. I loved it up until the end. It kind of lost me a bit there.
