Monthly Wrap-Up | April [2019]

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to my monthly wrap up post! I hope you all had a wonderful April! This month I’ve read nine books. Book Of The Month

WICKED SAINTS(SOMETHING DARK AND HOLY#1)
BY EMILY A. DUNCAN

This was a captivating read filled with royal politics, blood magic, and forbidden romance. Loved the morally gray characters and the dark gothic vibes! If you like dark YA fantasy then you really need to give it a shot!

Blurb: A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.

A prince in danger must decide who to trust.

A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.

Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.

In a centuries-long war where beauty and brutality meet, their three paths entwine in a shadowy world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light.

So many books read! I am interested in hearing your thoughts on Descendant of the Crane. I started it a while ago and had to set it aside because it just wasn’t grabbing my attention. Happy reading this month! 🙂

Thank you! Sadly, Descendant of the crane was a miss for me because it was too slow for my taste. Hope you have a great reading this month! 😊

L.J. Shen’s books sound AMAZING! And I’m obsessed with her bestie’s books, Charleigh Rose. Thank you for the reminder to pick up her books already lol! And yay for such a fabulous reading month!

I think you’ll love L. J. Shen’s Vicious because the love interest was a hot jerk, arrogant, and a possessive alpha male 😉 I hope you pick this up soon! 😊
*Sorry for the late reply* Hope you have a great day! 💕

So many books read! I felt same way you did for Descendant of the Crane. It was not as advertised and the world didn’t make sense. Need to look at Wicked Saints. Thanks Raven. ❤️❤️
