Book Of The Month

CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE(LEAGUE OF ORïSHA #1) BY TOMI ADEYEMI

This book is a wonderful read! It’s a magical adventurous ride till the end and the world of Orïsha was quite fascinating to explore. The magic was very intriguing and the characters were pretty good. Although I had few issues, I just loved it. It definitely lived up to the hype and I highly recommend it to all the YA fantasy lovers.

Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1)BLURB: Zélie Adebola remembers when the soil of Orïsha hummed with magic. Burners ignited flames, Tiders beckoned waves, and Zelie’s Reaper mother summoned forth souls. But everything changed the night magic disappeared. Under the orders of a ruthless king, maji were targeted and killed, leaving Zélie without a mother and her people without hope. Now, Zélie has one chance to bring back magic and strike against the monarchy. With the help of a rogue princess, Zélie must outwit and outrun the crown prince, who is hell-bent on eradicating magic for good. Danger lurks in Orïsha, where snow leoponaires prowl and vengeful spirits wait in the waters. Yet the greatest danger may be Zélie herself as she struggles to control her powers—and her growing feelings for the enemy.

Eight books is still amazing and I’m hoping that May is a much better month for you health wise. *hugs*
Are you going to post a review for The Continent? I’ve heard so many conflicting things about that book and supposedly they fixed a lot of the issues but I’m not so confident about that statement. Thanks!
