Hello Everyone! It’s the start of a new year, a new month and also new book releases. Lately, All these new fantasy books has been taking control of my reading life. It’s really been a while since I picked up a contemporary novel, Whenever I try to read one, a fantasy novel always gets in my way and tempts me with its intriguing premise and its beautiful cover. So, this month, I’m very much determined to read at least few contemporary books. Okay, enough of my ramblings, Let’s check out the new book releases I’m anticipating this month.

MY TOP THREE ANTICIPATING READS

THE CRUEL PRINCE BY HOLLY BLACK:  This book is one of my top most anticipated releases of this year. I’m great fan of Holly Black’s fae novels. I loved her Tithe series! It is the first series that introduced me to the gorgeous fae creatures and since then I’ve been devouring fae novels.  The Cruel Prince has already gotten a lot of praises and I’m literally dying to read it.

EVERLESS BY SARAH HOLLAND: Everless is Sara Holland’s debut novel which has been gaining a lot of popularity recently. Some of my trusted blogger friends loved this book so I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

BLOOD AND SAND BY C.V. WYK:  OMG, this book sounds totally kickass and we have female Spartacus as the main lead. There’s no power on earth can stop me from reading this book. I really hope it doesn’t disappoint me.

    Amazing list, I need all of these right now! ❤ I'm so sad that I will probably have a hard time keeping up with the January releases since my exams are coming up. But probably I will read them in February, anyway! ❤

    Your top is my top! I’ve read Everless but I can’t wait to read Cruel Prince and Blood and Sand seems so good!

    The Extinction Trials looks weirdly interesting. I haven’t seen that one before. I’m looking forward to Iron Gold.

      I totally agree! I recently added it to my tbr and the premise sounds very intriguing. I really hope the book lives up to it. I haven’t read Red Rising trilogy but it’s in my binge tbr list. I hope you enjoy Iron Gold when you finally get to read it!

    Thank you so much for sharing! Most of these I haven’t heard too much about. I’m really looking forward to Everless, Markswoman, and The Defiant. I’m just a tad hesitant about reading Zenith, but I know I’m going to read it eventually! YA sci-fi is one of my favorite sub-genres, right before fantasy! I hope you love these Raven!

    Great post! There are so many cool releases in 2018, it will be hard to keep up, haha. I really want to read Everless, I love the concept of this story – and I am also really excited to read The Forgotten Book, it sounds SO great 😀

      Thank you, Marie! Yeah, Everless does have a unique concept and it sounds like a refreshing read. Let’s hope it won’t disappoint us! The Forgotten Book sounds pretty interesting but I’m not setting any high expectations on it.

        I reeeally enjoyed it, and I can see why people seem to be comparing it to Sarah J maas’s faerie books. I’ll definitely be writing a review because I have a lot of things to say about it, but overall, it was really good. I hope you like it as well!!

    Here’s hoping when you pick up a Contemporary this month that it grabs you and you love it! I’m reading Say You’ll Remember Me right now and it’s such a heartwarming story with a tortured boy that I can’t help but love. I need to go back and catch up on the rest of her books since I’ve only read 3 of them, well 4 if you count this one. 🙂

    I need to read The Cruel Prince! Everyone is going hog wild over it! ♥️😁 Great list Raven… how do you find the YA books releasing in that month? I wanted to do a feature with it but the books I found weren’t even coming out that month!

      Thank you, Dani! I haven’t read the cruel prince yet but I’m hoping to read it in February. I search them in the monthly popular book releases in Goodreads. You can find the list by clicking on the browse option on goodreads menubar and selecting explore option. If you’re searching for only ya books you can find them in the lists option. In the search lists box(located right side) type “YA releases of February 2018”.
