MY REVIEW:

This book totally blew me away! Inferno is one of my highly anticipated sequels and I’m so glad that it has far exceeded my expectations. After I finished Vendetta,  I’ve been waiting a hell of a long time for this sequel so I can meet the falcone brothers once again especially LUCA and we have lot’s of Luca in Inferno which I really loved. Seriously, it was so good with all the non stop action and heart throbbing romance that made me keep on turning the pages without any break. I immensely enjoyed reading this amazing sequel and I’m so thankful to the author for writing such a wonderful masterpiece. This book is whirlwind of emotions that deals with family, friendship, love, betrayal, loyalty, lies and secrets.

The story is continued from where it was left off in vendetta where Sophie is hospitalized due to the warehouse incident. After the warehouse incident, Sophie finally decides to stay away from the falcones and lead a normal life with her mother with no violence in her life but due to her uncle jack, she once again lands in front of the falcones doorstep. Once again Sophie gets tangled in the mafia war and it seems there’s another enemy mafia clan bent on revenge who has their sights set on her. To make matters worse, her feelings for Nic gets more complicated when she sees the more of him and even though she loves Nic, she always feels comfort in the presence of Luca. As If caught between a blood war between two mafia clans wasn’t enough, things take a surprising turn for worse in her life when she learns about a shocking secret that totally shatters her world.

Sophie is really a great character who is very brave, funny, impulsive and loyal.  I really liked her character development and also her braveness even if it was kinda stupid. Millie is another character that I really liked knowing. She’s quite snarky and sarcastic character that always brought a smile to my face. I adored her friendship with Sophie because she was always there for her no matter how risky it may seem and that’s what friends really are for. Gianluca aka Luca is my favorite character and in inferno we get to know more about him. In vendetta, Luca was shown as a rude guy with hard exterior but in inferno we get to know the real him who is very caring, protective and broken which made me swoon all over again. Nic was kinda annoying in Inferno and his blood thirst for revenge has made me like him less. Even though Sophie loves Nic, the chemistry between Luca and sophie is phenomenal and realistic. I would definitely ship this relationship and will look forward to know how it develops further in the next book. There isn’t a love triangle yet but there is a high possibility of it in the next book.

The plot is extremely brilliant and exciting with lots of twists that kept me on my toes till the end. The pacing of the book was really great because I enjoyed every moment in it and there isn’t any scene where I felt bored. The writing was quite solid and I really liked it. All the characters including the supporting characters are well built and top notch. Honestly, it was so good that I felt like I was watching an action/romance movie  and I hope it gets optioned for a movie because it would definitely make an amazing movie.

Overall, it was fantabulous! Totally worth the wait! The ending was quite tragic and I’m dying to read the epic finale. 2017 is so far away and I don’t know how I could survive that long but I’ll eagerly wait for it. This book is definitely a perfect mix of Godfather and Romeo&Juliet and if you like books with mafia theme then this book is just for you.

Inferno is an epic YA read filled with non-stop action, thriller and romance that you wouldn’t want to miss. I highly recommend this series to everyone and please don’t miss this.

Mine too! There’s lots of books to read but not enough time and I had to be picky when choosing books. 🙂
