Sunday Book Recomendations

Hello there! Welcome back to another Sunday Book Recommendations which is the new weekly meme hosted by me. I created this meme so I could recommend you guys some interesting books which I think are worth reading. This meme includes recommending a book from three different genres. If you want to do this meme have fun with it, but don’t forget to link back to the host. 🙂

Note: You can change the genres every week.

YA DYSTOPIA
BRANDED BY ABI KETNER, MISSY KALICICKI
[SINNER’S TRILOGY]

“ It’s a very intriguing and unique dystopian novel. It was surprising read and I didn’t expected to enjoy it as much as I did. The MC’s in the plot are really great and I really enjoyed their romantic relationship. Seriously, it was really amazing and highly recommended.”

BLURB: Fifty years ago The Commander came into power and murdered all who opposed him. In his warped mind, the seven deadly sins were the downfall of society.

To punish the guilty, he created the Hole, a place where sinners are branded according to their sins. Sinners are forced to live a less than human existence in deplorable conditions, under the watchful eye of guards who are ready to kill anyone who steps out of line.

Now, LUST wraps around my neck like thick, blue fingers, threatening to choke the life out of me. I’ve been accused of a crime I didn’t commit, and the Hole is my new home.

Constant darkness.

Brutal and savage violence.

Excruciating pain.

Every day is a fight for survival.

But I won’t let them win. I will not die in the Hole.

I am more than my brand. I’m a fighter. My name is Lexi Hamilton, and this is my story.

YA CONTEMPORARY
THE START OF ME AND YOU BY EMERY LORD
[STAND-ALONE]

“ It’s a beautiful contemporary romance and I totally loved it. The main aspect of this story is all about second chances of finding love and happiness. It seemed very realistic and the author beautifully portrayed the importance of family, friendship and love in it which Is the best thing I liked about this book ”

BLURB: Brimming with heartfelt relationships and authentic high-school dynamics The Start of Me and You proves that it’s never too late for second chances.

It’s been a year since it happened—when Paige Hancock’s first boyfriend died in an accident. After shutting out the world for two years, Paige is finally ready for a second chance at high school . . . and she has a plan. First: Get her old crush, Ryan Chase, to date her—the perfect way to convince everyone she’s back to normal. Next: Join a club—simple, it’s high school after all. But when Ryan’s sweet, nerdy cousin, Max, moves to town and recruits Paige for the Quiz Bowl team (of all things!) her perfect plan is thrown for a serious loop. Will Paige be able to face her fears and finally open herself up to the life she was meant to live?

NA FANTASY

AVERY BY CHARLOTTE MCCONAUGHY
[THE CHRONICLES OF KAYA]
“ This book was really good, after reading the first  few chapters, I was totally hooked. The story was very intriguing and I really enjoyed the love/hate relationship in it. Overall, it was beautiful and bittersweet read, and definitely worth a shot  ”

BLURB: The people of Kaya die in pairs. When one lover dies, the other does too. So it has been for thousands of years – until Ava.

For although her bondmate, Avery, has been murdered and Ava’s soul has been torn in two, she is the only one who has ever been strong enough to cling to life. Vowing revenge upon the barbarian queen of Pirenti, Ava’s plan is interrupted when she is instead captured by the deadly prince of her enemies.

Prince Ambrose has been brought up to kill and hate. But when he takes charge of a strangely captivating Kayan prisoner and is forced to survive with her on a dangerous island, he must reconsider all he holds true . . .

In a violent country like Pirenti, where emotion is scorned as a weakness, can he find the strength to fight for the person he loves . . . even when she’s his vengeful enemy?

Avery is a sweeping, romantic fantasy novel about loss and identity, and finding the courage to love against all odds.

Great recommendations! I’ve heard of the contemporary novel you recommended but I haven’t heard of the other two. It might be worth checking out the NA Fantasy novel! It sounds interesting.
