Hello there! Recently I’ve been tagged by Summer @xingsings to do the Reading Habits tag.Thank you so much Summer for tagging me and guys she’s an amazing blogger who publishes wonderful posts so don’t forget to check out her blog. 🙂
So, let’s get on with this tag! 🙂
1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
Relaxing.No Interruptions.Comfortable
There is no perfect place for me other than my bed because it gives me a total comfortable reading experience.
2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Always a bookmark but if there isn’t one available at that time when needed then I would go with a random piece of paper.I like using bookmarks and I always wanted every book to have it’s own book mark may be I should create my own bookmarks.
3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?
If I wanted to take a break or stop reading I either stop after a certain chapter or after specific amount of pages whatever suits better but I don’t ever stop abruptly.
4. Do you eat or drink while reading?
Nope, I don’t eat or drink while reading because while I’m preoccupied with a book I tend to forget my surroundings. Also I don’t want to accidentally spill anything on the books either.
5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?
No multitasking for me while reading cause I can’t concentrate on reading while hearing music or watching TV and I love Music a lot but they are too much distraction for me while reading.Books and Music are my favorite addictions and I always give them my separate attention without mixing them so I can enjoy them better individually.
6. One book at a time or several at once?
I can read two books at once but I can’t read more than two books and I always prefer to read one book at a time which is most comfortable for me.
7. Reading at home or everywhere?
I mostly prefer reading at home on my bed and I don’t read everywhere but if it’s a secluded place with no one to interrupt me then I would consider reading at that place.
8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?
I always read silently in my head cause it helps me engrossed in the story much better and I don’t know how to read out loud either and reading out loud is kinda annoying to others and also it’s sorta weird I mean c’mon who does that.
9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?
Not always I don’t want to spoil my reading experience I mean why bother reading it if it doesn’t give the excitement or thrill of anticipating the end.But if the book is too much boring or draggy i’m more than happy to skip those pages.
10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?
“WHAT! BREAKING THE SPINE”
I’d always like to keep my books in good condition like they are new and I absolutely freak out if I find any tiny tear on it.Hardbacks always lasts longer but with paperbacks, they should be always handled with care.
11. Do you write in your books?
Some people like to write in their books but I’m totally against it.I’d only write on study related books like physics, maths, etc., but not in the pages of my novels cause I highly detest it.

Keeping books in good shape for sure!! Sadly my paperbacks are often worse for wear… at least hardcovers are more resilient. XD (More expensive too. -_-) Great answers, Raven!

Thank You! Yes I agree hardcovers are too much expensive so we have no choice but to go with paperbacks or ebooks unless you’ve got lot’s of money to spend. 🙂

Yep, exactly. I only wish I had lots of money to spend on books…

Writing in books is a big no-no especially new ones. Thanks for tagging me Raven! I’m excited to do this one. 🙂

I think so too! For some reason, I have a harder time understanding what I’m reading out loud unless I read slowly. I don’t know. 😛
And yes, seeing those broken spines just hurts my soul. I’ve been meaning to collect HP in hardcover one day. Just because my paperbacks are so raggedy. Thanks for participating, Raven! 🙂

I think it’s a stupid question I mean who would want to break the spines of their books and yes if you have a favorite book or favorite series you better buy it in hardcover format so it can be re-readable without no worry of damaging the book. Thanks for tagging me I really had fun doing this. 🙂

Yup yup, I would never write in my books, nor do I enjoy breaking the spine. If I do break the spine for one of my books, I go back to it and instantly regret ti for the rest of my life. This happened to me with my paperback copy of Heir of Fire. (I loved reading it so much at the time that I didn’t realise what I was doing.) xoxo

Yeah I know how it’ll feel but I was very careful while reading the ACOTAR paperback cause I totally I fell in love with that cover and I don’t want to ruin it. 🙂

Sometimes I cheat and read 2 books at once. I don’t recommend it. I end up ignoring the first book I picked up! Thanks for the tag! 🙂 ❤

I agree with you, reading one book at a time is more enjoyable than two at once. Thanks for participating! Will look forward to read yours. 😉

This kid sitting next to me broke the spine of the Jane Austen book we were studying in class, ON PURPOSE because he knew that I 😍 love 📚.
