MY REVIEW:

A perfect read for the Twilight lovers and Vampire lovers. I actually didn’t know that it was written by a huge twilight fan, while I’m reading this I’ve observed that there were some scenarios which reminded so much of the twilight scenes and I finally understand why when I came to the end where  the author mentioned that she wrote this book inspired by the Twilight. It was really a sweet and  teen vampire romance and I enjoyed reading this a lot. It was  a great debut from the author Temple west about a forbidden romance between a human and a vampire.

I liked how the characters developed their relationship slowly with friendship but not in a rush with a insta-attraction. Caitlin and Adrian are very much entertaining characters and you won’t get bored knowing them.I especially loved the banters between the two of them. The plot was truly captivating and it was swoon worthy. Adrian  got an  captivating  and sweet personality, he reminded me so much of Edward:). Well Caitlin was Caitlin she was quick witted, humorous, friendly person, sometimes gloomy and she got unique personality that you would like to know more about her.

Caitlin got a sorrowful story in which both her parents were passed away and now she was living with her Aunt, Uncle and a Cousin.I felt very sad for her whenever she cried missing both her parents. It was merely some days passed since her mother died and she didn’t want to grieve and remind herself of the fact that she was now alone and an orphan, so she distracted herself with the art. She always wanted to become a fashion designer which now seemed pretty much impossible with her current situation. Her life totally changes when she was saved by a hot guy named Adrian who lives in her neighborhood and also to her surprise he also attends the same school. Adrian maintains a mysterious persona at school and seemed unapproachable to every girls, but when he begins to pay attention to Caitlin she  got puzzled with his behavior and  surprisingly  she was also offered a free ride from him everyday. She was curious with him being nice to her and why he acts totally different with her when compared to the others.I don’t want to reveal any more so you have to read it to find it.

Another character which I liked the most is “Trish” also the new best friend of Caitlin. At start she may seem like a blonde bimbo but you would like her more when you get to know her character better, she got an amazing personality. The chemistry between  Adrian and Caitlin was really intense and teen rated.

The plot may seem cliché to some people but I really loved it a lot.It was both romantic and emotional.Miss Temple west also gave some detailed scientific information about the vampire biology. There was also a whole lot of mystery about the council which I didn’t get to know much in this and also why she was targeted by both the council and Adrian’s Demon Dad.

For a debut author Miss West writing style is perfect and easy to understand with no flaws. The characters are all well build and connected. My only issue with this book was the slight problem with the plot which seemed dragged a bit and the end seemed kinda rushed but anyway it was good. There were lots of unsolved mysteries which are yet to be revealed may be it’ll be cleared in the sequel. Finally the book ended with a cliffhanger which wasn’t that much of frustration worthy so I’m cool with it. And I highly recommended this book to all the vampire lovers who are into sweet teen vampire romance.

Nice review! But I don’t know you have wached the Vampire Diaries (I’m glad you used that picture of Damon, oh I’m in love with him since forever!) or not but it sounded a lot (98%) like season 1 of TVD.
