SUMMARY: Four days left.
Private beach (…and boat).
Not so invisible girl.
And maybe less of a jerk-faced bully than originally thought.
What’s the worst (or the best) that could happen?
Kaitlyn is finding life outside of the science cabinet of obscurity to be quite illuminating …and so are her pants.
When things heat up between Kaitlyn Parker and Martin—previously known as the jerk-faced bully—Sandeke, she places her trust in the one person she never thought capable of earning it, let alone keeping it safe. Fortunately or unfortunately for Kaitlyn, where she gives her trust she can’t help but also give her heart.
But how will the world beyond the sanctuary of their newfound connection react to their relationship? Soon senators, chinless billionaires, and elements beyond Martin and Kaitlyn’s control want to weigh in on the young couple’s future.
Navigating the chaotic inferno of new love might be more than Kaitlyn bargained for, and much, much more than her trust—or her heart—can handle.
MY REVIEW: I got One word to describe this book.
Holy Moly! this book has reached all the high red alerts making it too hot.
The book has picked up where it is left off in the prequel where kaitlyn feels hurt after witnessing the situation between Martin and some bimbo model, and quickly rushes off from the scene to isolate herself from the party.
In “Heat” the chemistry between Kaitlyn and Martin has surpassed all the boundaries, and while reading this, heat waves were spread around me making it so damn hot. “Attraction” gives the feeling of Butterflies in your stomach but Heat is more than that, it is about raw passion and intense love that’ll get readers hearts pumping faster. This book is more explicit than the first one because there were lots of steamy scenes and making outs.
The feelings between Kaitlyn and Martin has become strong, and there relationship has become more serious than before. They begin to understand more about each other. Kaitlyn comes to know all the sadness in Martin’s life and her feelings for him begins to grow which leads to love.We get to meet Martin’s evil Step mother and his arrogant father, and we also get to know why he hates his family so much. There are some twists in this story and Kaitlyn’s mother also becomes aware of their relationship.
They thought loving each other was enough but they didn’t expected that there would be obstacles in their love.I would’ve loved it more if there was more story in the plot because more than half of the book was occupied with love scenes. Finally the book has ended with a serious cliff hanger and I’m really excited to know how it turns out in the next book also the epic finale of the series.
