What’s the worst that could happen?
Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.
Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family’s billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.
When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?
MY REVIEW: One thing thing I can say about this book is, that it is an absolute heart thumping story.I just loved reading this book.Miss Penny has did it again with her new scorching romance. The plot was truly simple and perfect. When I started reading this, till the end I didn’t took any break and finished it in one sitting. This book is totally intended for the NA readers. The heat levels in this story are very high so beware.
I really liked the character Kaitlyn Parker she was funny, sassy and innocent.I loved the way she talked and also her great sense of humor. The narrating style was perfect for this plot and all the characters are well connected. As for the jerk face billionaire Martin Sandeke *swoon*, he was totally alpha male kinda guy.Whenever Kaitlyn and Martin meet, there was always fireworks flying around them, cause they couldn’t control themselves.
“I hoped Martin Sandeke had no idea that he affected the heat levels of my figurative Bunsen burner.”
As for the chemistry part between Kaitlyn and Martin,it was top notch and blush worthy.Sam(friend of Kaitlyn) and Eric(friend of Martin) are the other two characters that I’d like to know more, and may be they may end up together in the next part.It was really funny how the author had come up with this plot, but it was really fantastic and crazy.
In this some elements may seem total cliche, but it was quick steamy romance read and isn’t boring anywhere. Now I’ve finished reading this, I’m quickly going to read the second one now and hope it would be better than this.
