RELEASE DATE: April 14th 2015
AUTHOR: S.Walden
GENRE: New-Adult,Thriller,
SUMMARY: ~A lot can change in the space between devising a plan and carrying it out. That space is called the INTERIM.~

High school seniors Jeremy Stahl and Regan Walters aren’t friends. Not even close. He’s a picked-on, picked-apart loser outcast. She’s a cool kid running with the popular crowd. It’s unlikely they’d ever speak to one another. Too bad he’s madly in love with her. But what does it matter, anyway? He’s got no time for love. Only revenge.

Meticulously detailed in the pages of his battered red notebook is his master plan: April 14, 9:30 A.M., two guns, eighty rounds of ammo, backup knives, eleven victims. He’s finally ready to answer every single taunt, jeer, and flying fist—unwarranted abuse that’s spanned six years of his lonely life. He’s justified. He’s ready. But he never readied himself for her.

Regan finds his journal. She reads it, and when he discovers her intrusion, he has to switch tactics. She’s a liability now.

Better fix that.

MY REVIEW:  This book is more like a ticking time bomb which makes the whole journey more intense and exciting. It totally blown my mind off seriously with all the emotional and gut wrenching situations i just couldn’t keep my eyes off from it even for one second, and just completed this in one sitting. It was really a thought provoking story where it relates to the reality of the situation facing by the young people nowadays with all the abuse and bullying.

~A lot can change in the space between devising a plan and carrying it out. That space is called the INTERIM.~

I must applaud the author for writing such a tremendously amazing and emotional eye opening story which is close to reality. She breathed life into the words which made them seem more realistic that you could feel all the emotions going through by the characters.Miss Walden well portrayed the character named Jeremy where he finds redemption in the form of love which is a best healer for any emotionally broken people. All the raw emotions felt by Jeremy are well described in the form of journal writings. The Chapters headings are titled in the form of countdown to the ultimate showdown which made the whole journey more intense and suspenseful.

“To the lonely and brokenhearted. And to the ones who fight for them”

Jeremy Stahl is a lonely broken soul who is constantly abused by his father since he was young by being a punching bag whenever he was drunk, and  a laughing stalk in his high school. If being abused by  his father is not enough he was always bullied in the school which ultimately leads him to a breaking point. When it seemed he was totally broken he thought enough is enough and then he made a list of targets in his Red Journal where he specifically described how he’s gonna take his vengeance on the people who made his life pathetic. When Jeremy’s Red Journal accidentally got in the hands of his classmate and a long time crush Regan his life takes a ultimate turn around where he begins to  find happiness, and healing for his broken soul in the form of love. After getting more close to  Regan Jeremy begins to have  inner turmoil with himself and being a vigilante. The author described perfectly well about how all the abuses or bullying can psychologically effect a person that can turn them into something else that makes them do violent actions.

The author’s writing skills are  easy to understand and i didn’t find any flaws in the book it was really a perfect read.If you are looking for a cute love story with all the high school drama then this isn’t the book for you.It shows how certain situations can make people do such  evil things which scar others in their life forever. This book got both bad and good ending that made it more intriguing and tragic but perfect. It got a big twist in the end that i didn’t predicted it which is a big surprise for me.I think this book must be read by everyone so i recommend everyone to read this you won’t regret it.
